Tourism Whistler’s media room is not your typical press release space. Seriously, it’s so much more than just announcements. It’s like they’ve read your mind and know exactly what you need as a journalist. Plus, everything is super easy to find. High-res photos, B-roll, background info, no hunting around or waiting on emails. It’s all just ready to go. If I were a journalist, I’d be all over this. It saves time, and you can grab what you need and get to work. They even let you request media visits, which is nice because it shows they actually want to help you tell the best story possible. Compared to the usual stiff, formal press releases, this one feels more like a conversation, and it’s clear that Tourism Whistler is all about making the media’s life easier. They’re not just throwing info out there, they’re giving you everything you need to make the content great. Honestly, more brands should take notes because this is how you do it right.
